about me
My name is Paul, a photographer of 10+ years, and after shooting 120+ weddings, working countless creative projects for country artists, social media influencers, and Emmy-award winning actors, I am focusing on tattoo portrait photography.
What to Expect:
30–45 min casual outdoor session, free of charge.
5–10 edited detail tattoo + portrait shots
I use a small 360 camera + mic on myself for behind-the-scenes content
Afterward, all photos are sent directly to the artist and client.

Detail/Medium shots are for your portfolio, perfect for highlighting your work.
Portrait photos are for advertising the lifestyle and personality of who your clientele is.
Perfect for social media, websites, paid ads, press kits, etc.

Great question! I recommend something along the lines of:
“Hey [Client Name], I’m working with a local photographer who’s offering free professional portraits to showcase some of my work. I really love the piece we did together and would love to get you scheduled in sometime in the next few weeks. It would mean a lot to me. It’s totally free for you, and you’ll get all the edited photos to use however you like. If you’re interested, you can check out his portfolio + book a spot here”

No. These sessions are completely free. This is part of a creative project I’m building to showcase tattoos. You’ll receive 5-10 edited photos (portraits & detail shots) at no cost, and you can use them however you’d like (social media, personal use, or for your portfolio)

Yes absolutely. Any and all content posted from each session will always have proper tagging of relevant parties. Prior to the first shoot, I will send a short form to fill out that will have a place to input all relevant social media info.

5-10 photos. These include portraits and detail shots of the specific tattoo.
These will be landscape/vertical, delivered in 8K resolution. Further cropping for social media available upon request.

Maintaining accurate white balance and color rendition is incredibly important.
Detail shots of tattoos, I use small external lighting to ensure accurate color.
Portrait shots are lifestyle focused and I use natural light for those.
General FAQs

I will send a link to my booking platform.
There you will select a day/time that works best for you.
Within 24 hours, I will reach out to confirm our appt.

I have a list of public places that work well, but I’ll reach out beforehand and ask if you have a favorite location (I.e. Zilker park/Bonney Hill)

You’ll get full-resolution copies of the photos.
Artists and their clients get a limited commercial license for use on social media, websites, and press features.

I aim for 30-45 min max. But I always will make sure to ask you about any other time commitments you have
